Isaac Abraham passes Advanced Test Analyst exam

Isaac Abraham, one of the SPEDI support team has passed his Advanced Test Analyst examination from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board.

This is a recently introduced examination to test the candidate's ability and understanding of the testing process requiring a high level of expertise. Isaac and other members of the team have already passed the Foundation course in software testing and are using their skills to test SPEDI products before we release them to their users.

Their target as testers is, of course, to make all our software bug free. However, as our software contains well over 100,000 lines of code and as our users have many different and sometimes conflicting ways of using the system, the skill of the testers is to balance the need to test thoroughly with the need to have products ready for the user when they are required. Testing is just one part of a continuous quality process which tries over the life of the product to give reliability, flexibility and efficiency.
